Rijja Mansoor

Order of Merit by the Governor General Award Recipient

Recognized for her being an exceptional academics and leadership. A finalist for Miss Teen Canada, she has devoted over 200 hours to volunteering and has Job-Shadowed countless times with various organizations, demonstrating a deep commitment to service. She is a published poet and article writer, inspiring and motivating her city through her words, and has created multiple initiatives to host public events and activities. Rijja also represents her country as a nationalist for MUNA. Throughout her high school career, she has maintained academic excellence despite challenges, reflecting her resilience, dedication, and drive to make a meaningful impact in every area of her life.

Sofia Martinez

Aurora Research Excellence Award Recipient

Recognized for her outstanding achievements in scientific research and her dedication to community service. She led a solar technology project that explored innovative ways to increase the efficiency of renewable energy systems, presenting her findings at national student research conferences. Beyond her research, Sofia has volunteered her time to organize STEM workshops and mentorship programs for younger students, helping to inspire the next generation of scientists. Her combination of academic excellence, leadership, and community involvement  creates meaningful impact both in the lab and in the community.
